14th Street Uptown Business Association (14UBA) is a 
non-profit organization for independent small business 
owners and residents in Upper Northwest, Washington, DC. 
We are working to:
- Enhance both the business corridor and residential communities from Arkansas Ave. to Longfellow St.; 13th St. to Rock Creek Park;
- Promote neighborhood businesses and their synergy with our affected communities;
- Represent their interest throughout present and future public/private civic planning initiatives for our affected corridors.

WELCOME
Thanks to Councilmember Muriel Bowser and a grant from the Office of the Deputy Mayor Planning & Economic Development's Neighborhood Investment Fund, 14UBA received funding from July - September 2010 to expand the continuation of its tree box maintenance/beautification training project along the 14th St. business corridor and neighboring residential streets. This funding source allowed 14UBA to establish its "SPOT TEAM," training up to 21 neighborhood men and youth with an entrepreneurial skill in basic landscaping and grounds keeping.
